The National 3 Peaks Challenge is a UK mountaineering challenge often completed to raise money for the group’s chosen charity and occasionally for fun.
The challenge is to attempt to walk up and down the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours including the driving from Fort William to Wasdale Head to Llanberis.
With a total driving distance of just over 450 miles taking on average 10 hours this is no easy challenge.
Walking the 3 mountains (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) must be completed in 14 hours or less.
Added together the walking time and driving time must equal 24 hours or less to be successful.
We guide over 800 people through the 3 Peaks each year and consider ourselves as specialists when it comes to delivering the 3 Peaks Challenge. Request a quote.
Transport provided by Mountaineerin includes 2 professional, experienced 3 Peaks drivers in modern, clean vehicles.
Our transport is driven by designated driver(s) who will not take part in the climbing aspect of the challenge so they can focus on getting you from peak to peak safely.
Transport normally starts in Warrington with pick up available in Glasgow or en route to Fort William. We will the drop you off after the challenge in Chester or Warrington. Alternative pick up and drop off locations are available on request.
